Mental Health Crisis Response and Intervention

Behaviour Aid Word Cloud

Behaviour Aid is able to deploy on short notice, to any remote locations within Canada, for mental health crisis response and intervention services, including suicides, or for psychological workshop facilitation. As a former member of Canada's Mental Wellness Crisis Response Team, Lisa has gained tremendous experience as a first responder to various mental health crises in many remote Indigenous communities across Canada's North and the High Arctic. Since launching Behaviour Aid in 2019, Lisa continues this crisis response work, on a contractual basis on her own, nationwide. These crises include missing persons, suicides, community evacuations (fires and floods), terminations, self-harming, episodes of violence, and other traumatic events.

Psychological Assessment and Counselling Services** - Individual & Group

Certified in Canada as a CCAC (Canadian Certified Addictions Counsellor), since 2015, Lisa is able to facilitate therapeutic counselling services both individually and in groups as well as provide psychological assessments as needed. Her specialties include trauma, grief and loss, addictions, suicide, and ambiguous loss (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Men MMIW/M).

** - All counselling services are also offered at your location, if desired.
